Which room a range suits is ACE Climate’s own assessment, not a manufacturer claim. The capacities, efficiency and sound figures are the manufacturers’ own published specifications, recorded with their source.
dB(A) is a measurement of sound weighted for how the ear actually hears it, and the scale is not a straight line: a drop of ten points sounds roughly half as loud, not ten per cent quieter. The figure quoted is the quietest model in the range at its lowest fan speed, so the rest of the range runs above it. What the numbers sound like.
