Air Conditioning

Cooling and Heating, From One Modern System

ACE Climate designs and installs modern split air conditioning systems that keep homes and small commercial premises comfortable throughout the year, across North West England.

How Modern Systems Work

More Than Just Summer Cooling

Today’s residential and small-commercial air conditioning systems are almost always reverse-cycle, meaning the same equipment that cools a room in warm weather can also provide efficient heating during colder months. That makes air conditioning a genuine year-round comfort investment rather than a single-season appliance.

The right system depends on the room, the property and how the space is used — which is why every project starts with a proper survey rather than a one-size-fits-all recommendation.

Why Air Conditioning

Comfort, Efficiency and Air Quality

Cooling and Heating in One System

Modern split systems run in either direction, so the same unit cools a space in summer and heats it in winter. In heating mode it works as a heat pump — moving heat in from the outside air rather than creating all of it — which is why it can deliver more heat than the electricity it uses.

Year-Round Comfort

Rather than a seasonal appliance, a well-specified system supports a consistent, comfortable indoor temperature throughout the year.

Quiet, Efficient Operation

Modern inverter systems automatically increase and reduce their output to match what the room needs, settling there and staying there. Older equipment could only switch between full power and off, which is both noisier and less efficient.

Improved Air Movement

Filtration and steady air circulation help keep a room feeling fresher, alongside the temperature control itself.

Who We Help

Residential and Small Commercial Applications

Common System Types

Choosing the Right Equipment

The best system for a project depends on the room layout, ceiling height, how many areas need covering and the look you want to achieve.

Wall-Mounted Split Systems

The most common choice for a single room — a compact indoor unit paired with an outdoor condenser.

Multi-Split Systems

One outdoor condenser serving two or more indoor units, useful where several rooms need cooling without multiple outdoor units.

Ducted / Concealed Systems

Indoor units concealed above a ceiling and distributed through discreet grilles, where a wall-mounted unit isn't the right look for the space.

Cassette Systems

Ceiling-mounted units suited to commercial spaces such as offices, shops and restaurants where floor and wall space is at a premium.
